Protectors- Chapter 5 - Known

Warning I: Okay if you have been following along you should probably know what I own and what I don't own. Please enjoy this story.

Previously
Our newly formed Protectors have finally broke out of the alien ship and saved a whole bunch of kids! Though on the downside the Aliens have taken most of Earth's heroes captured and Graviton had escaped from his prison. Though on the bright side Skaar and Lyra discovered some new abilities. Now will the fight Graviton and be known to the world as it's new Protectors or will they fall?

"Seriously what the hell is that?" Sheila aka Witchita asked her new found friends again.

"Graviton." Lyra stated.

"What?" Sheila asked.

"Graviton. A super-villain with the power to control gravity. Our father fought him. Let's just say he gave our father quite the challenge." Lyra simply said to everyone.

"So wait a minute. This dude can go toe-to-toe with your dad, the Hulk?!" Walter shouted in pure shock.

"Pretty much." Lyra told him.

They all knew one thing. The were hopelessly out matched but not out number. Skaar quickly thought up a plan.

"Witchita?" Skaar asked to get her attention.

"Uh...yeah." Witchita responded still trying to get use to being called by her code-name.

"Remember when we were on that ship and you started flying?"

"Yeah who wouldn't remember flying for the first time?" she responded half jokingly.

Skaar paused for a moment to think things through. Giving himself a mental note that if he survives and sees his dad. Give him a whole lot of respect for doing this leader thing.

"Little Rock, Carnage and Animal you three are on civilian duty. Save and help anyone you can. Witchita and Cannon get Graviton's attention." Skaar commanded.

"And what are we going to do little brother?" Lyra asked him.

Skaar pounded his fists together. "We're going to smash him!"

"So you have any idea on how to get the attention of a man who controls gravity?" Cannon asked Witchita.

"Uh duh! All super-villains have on thing in common." Witchita stated back to her friend.

"What's that?" he asked as Witchita suddenly took the lead in flying.

"This." She said before she fired a blast at Graviton. Specifically the back of his head.

"ARG!" he shouted in surprise before he turned and saw Witchita before he got his body slammed by Cannon.

With Graviton's hold gone the huge chunk of land was falling. Quickly. Skaar from the distance noticed it.

Feel it. Feel the power. Focus. Skaar thought as once again his body took on the gray skin stone and blue eyes appearance. The blue bolts of energy were wrapping around the huge chunk of land Graviton picked up. It was working. Skaar's new ability. The island was slowly going down. The waves were even commanded by Skaar's power by moving away from the area the island was brought up from. This power. It felt like he was born into it.

"Okay. I'm impress." Lyra back in her hulk form stated.

Once the island was back on the ground. Carnage, Animal and Little Rock went to work. Thanks to Graviton, some buildings that were under construction were down. Some people were stuck, injured or just needed to help to find their loved one.

"Alright boys let's get started." Little Rock stated as she moved a piece of a building that fell.

Sheila please be okay. Danielle thought as she was helping people out of fallen construction set.

"AH!" Cannon screamed as Graviton finally manage to get the super powered kid off him.

"Children. Children think that they can stop ME! A man who is all power!" He yelled in fury.

Then a lasso was wrapped around his neck. Follow by a tug that swung him towards the ground. In the hands of the lasso was Savage She-Hulk aka Lyra.

"We don't think. We ARE!" Savage shouted as she and Skaar began to charge at Graviton.

A bus full of school kids were stranded on the sidewalk. Until a certain wall crawler came up to it and busted down the doors. Once he got in he saw a bus driver knocked out and whole bunch of kids that looked terrified out of their minds.

"Who are you?" a young boy that looked around five asked him.

"I'm Carnage. I'm here to help you all get out of here. Okay?" He told everyone.

"How?" a girl asked who looked around eight years old.

"My team and I are going to get you out of here. Now everyone line up single file and we'll all calmly walk off the bus. Okay?"

"Okay Mister Carnage." everyone echoed.

"Just Carnage kids." he said as he lead everyone off the bus.

It was obvious that they were in New York City and yes they were fighting Graviton. What they didn't expect was Skaar doing something no one, not even the Agents of S.M.A.S.H saw. Skaar's skin was now a gray and looked like pure stone. His eyes were glowing a bright blue and blue energy seem to be leaving his body. Skaar punched Graviton in the face and Graviton did not go down. He flew. He flew from the brute force of Skaar's punch. While he was reaching the peak of his flight, Lyra jumped up to his height and wrapped her arms around his waist to bring him back down to Earth.

"Submit." Lyra commanded as she held Graviton to the ground.

"Never. I! AM! STRONGER!" Graviton yelled in fury. His eyes glowed brighter and with his power he force Lyra off of him.

Then out of nowhere a huge giant pillar hit Graviton.

Graviton turned the direction the rock pillar hit him. It was Skaar. The power. The oldstrong power. Was freakin awesome. Skaar lifted his arms and more smaller rock pillars were sent in Graviton's direction.

Graviton doge out of the way of the flying pillars by going out of his eye sight. Yes he got out of Skaar's eye sight but not all the Protectors.
Graviton grunted as Cannon slammed on his body and took him for a ride. Witchita seemed to be going closer to the ground. More Specifically where the most damage and people were trapped.

"Hey Little Rock what's up?" Witchita asked as soon as she was close enough to see her sister.

"Witchita what are you doing?" Little Rock asked as she was wandering why her sister was here.

"Well Skaar and Lyra are recovering from their little two on one battle, Cannon is currently taking Graviton on a ride and well I'm thinking that we should have a back up plan if Cannon can't keep him distracted long enough."

Danielle was shocked that her sister, the immature, go with the flow, lazy sister, Sheila was thinking of actually what could happen in the near future.

"Well what do you got?" Little Rock asked her big sister.

They were cut off by a shout and a crash. It was Cannon who was currently knocked out with Graviton currently hovering above him.

"Improvise!" Witchita commanded to her sister as she blasted Graviton.

Little Rock didn't really get improvising. Usually she thought of a game plan but right now that wasn't an option. She thought as she launched a boulder at him.

Only Witchita's blasts broke through. Little Rock's not so much.

"You know I can remove gravity's effect on you. Like this." Graviton stated as he focused on Witchita. He removed her gravity which caused her to fly up into space.

"NO!" Little Rock screamed as she saw her only sister just flew away like that.

Sheila I'm so sorry for everything bad I ever done to you. Danielle thought. Though her grief was replaced by rage. If she were a hulk Graviton would have been a stain on the street. Thought she's not a hulk. She's Little Rock. Witchita's little sister. She was going to make one thing clear to Graviton. NEVER EVER MESS WITH her family.

Sheila really needs to be more like her sister when it came to finding a game plan. Example A this. She was shot up into space with only a little warning.

I need to breath. Sheila thought before it happened. They energy the aliens knew she had was powerful. They didn't know how powerful though. Her energy covered her entire body. Sheila took a big breath of air.

"I can breath in space?!" Sheila stated as she looked towards Earth.

"Time for a little payback." she stated as the energy she controlled turned red.

Graviton had made a big mistake. He messed with Little Rock's family. Which he was learning to never ever do that ever again. Danielle was holding her own against him. She learned how to redirect his ability. The ability that took her sister.

I'll make him pay for this Sheila. No one hurts you, ends you and gets away with it. Never again. Danielle gravely thought as she wasn't able to save her sister.

Carnage and Animal had just joined the fight. Carnage was launching his own webbing towards the villain. Animal was moving civilians out of harms way. Also both of them noticed Danielle was ticked off since she didn't care about anything else besides giving Graviton pain. Not even the civilians that were there.

"Little Rock what are you doing?" Animal yelled to her.

"I'm making this bastard pay! He sent my sister into SPACE!" she yelled in response.

What neither of them noticed was Skaar and Lyra came in both landing a few good hits on Graviton before he knocked them off.

"Okay we need a plan!" Lyra shouted.

"Where's Witchita?" Skaar asked everyone.

"Graviton launched her into SPACE!" Little Rock yelled with rage in her voice.

Skaar and Lyra were shocked. Skaar felt guilty. He just lead a girl. A sister. To her death? All of them were still processing how the hell did Graviton kill her. That meant they were open for attack. Graviton was focusing on the gravity around the teens. Planning to end them by launching them into space just like the girl earlier.

"NO!" Cannon screamed as he saw his friends about to get a sneak attack by Graviton. He launched himself at Graviton. Sending him back several feet.

Cannon soon landed in front of them. He noticed the expressions of grief and loss.

"Who died?" He asked half jokingly.

"Witchita." Lyra told the high speeding mutant.

"Seriously!?" He screamed.

"Enough! If you all are missing that girl you'll soon join- WHAT THE!" Graviton screamed as he noticed a big red glow ball seemed to be coming straight towards him.

Everyone's heads turned. The ball hit Graviton. Hard. So hard no one could tell who or what it was until the dust settled. They saw Witchita aka Sheila her body was glowing red, her eyes were whitish red and she looked pissed off but not as pissed off as Danielle was. Witchita had a firm grip on his throat. Witchita seemed to be guiding the energy towards Graviton hurting him with it.

"No one and I mean no one launches me into space, hurts my friends and gets away with it!" Witchita yelled to the villain before bring up a red glowing fist and hitting Graviton straight in the face. Knocking him out.

"Your alive?" Lyra asked Sheila as she slowly came out of shock.

"No! I'm her spirit here to haunt you forever!" She replied sarcastically.

"Seriously?" Skaar asked.

"No!" Sheila screamed back to the teenage hulk.

Danielle said no words. She ran up to her and hugged her.

"I'M SO HAPPY THAT YOUR ALIVE!" Danielle said as she was hugging her sister.

"Come on sis. You should know by now that it's going to take a lot to get rid of me. That includes super villains that go toe to toe with Hulk!" Sheila told her sister.

"How did you survive? I thought you were sucked into space?" Danielle asked her sister.

"I tell all of you if..."

"If what?!" Danielle asked.

"If you let go of me!" Sheila yelled towards her sister.

"Oh. Sorry." Danielle sheepishly said as she let go of her sister.

"So how did you survive in space?" Skaar asked her.

Before Sheila got the chance to explain herself. The Protectors were surrounded by the Army and SHIELD. All pointing guns, tanks, bazookas and several other weapons at them. More importantly Skaar.

"Skaar stand down now! Same thing for you She-Hulk! You kids move away from them! Their monsters!" One of the men holding the weapons.

"Wait I'm not She-Hulk!" Lyra protest.

"Does the Army always shows up after we defeat the bad guy?" Sheila stated.

"Skaar! She-Hulk Stand down now!" the Army stated once again.

Skaar and Lyra were getting into a position ready to attack until Witchita went in front of them.

"No you stand down!"

"Miss you need to leave they're dangerous!"

"What about you! You have tanks, missals, bazookas, guns and who knows what else you got!" Witchita yelled at the Army.

"Miss they're hulks."

"Racist!" Little Rock shouted at the Army as she took a position next to her sister.

"We're not being racist!"

"Yes you are! The moment the Hulks show they're faces you go after them like wild animals!" Little Rock yelled at the army.

"They destroyed a town."

"No Skaar and the other hulks were tricked into destroying that town. Which they repaired. Savage She-Hulk is a hulk but she's not the She-Hulk and just because she's a hulk who had done nothing wrong your going to lock her up?! Have you guys ever replied the buildings you've destroyed?" Carnage said as he was also upfront with Witchita and Little Rock.

"The Hulks are capable for ending lives!"

"So are you! You have an Army right now! Wars end lives too!" Cannon yelled back.

"Also humans are known to kill other humans. Sometimes with a weapon other times with their bare hands." Animal spat to the Army.

The Army couldn't help but wonder why these kids are defending Hulks their monsters.

"Why are you defending them!"

"Because they didn't do anything wrong. Unless you call stopping a super-villain that can destroy New York bad." Witchita said to the Army.
They were a little shocked. They thought they were going to have to fight Graviton and the Hulks but in reality Skaar and his new group of friends just saved thousands maybe even millions of people.

"Men stand down!" commanded a man who appears to be a general. The army then lowered their weapons. The General then walked up to the team of unlikely teens.

"Skaar what the hell are you doing?!" asked the general.

Skaar never talked to officials like this. Whenever someone asked them what they were doing it was usually anyone but Skaar.

"What we're doing is saving and protecting people who can't. That man Graviton was going to destroy New York and probably end a lot of lives. Got a problem with that." Skaar told the general in charge.

"I don't but I'm not sure about the Director of SHIELD."

"Well why don't we have a little chat?" Skaar asked.

"Alright you want to talk to the Director of SHIELD you've got her." shouted a unknown voice.

A young women around mid twenties. She had short black hair, brown eyes, slightly tanned skin. She was Director Maria Hill. Since Nick Fury disappear during the time where most of Earth's heroes became missing.

"Uh..." Skaar said.

"Director Maria Hill. What are you kids doing?" Hill stated.

"I believe we just did your job Director Hill." Lyra stated towards the woman. Lyra has had to give reports to her general this shouldn't be too hard.

"Who are you?"

"Savage She-Hulk. I'm the daughter of Tundra and Hulk."

"So where's your daddy?"

"Our father was kidnapped along with the other heroes."

"Our?"

"Yes our. Skaar is my half brother on my father's side."

"Well who's your leader?"

"Skaar." Everyone all said in unison except for Skaar.

"Well Skaar you get to explain to the press of what just happened." Maria Hill stated.

"What?" Skaar asked as the new Director of SHIELD walked away.
